In December, Father Holtschneider and a delegation from DePaul visited Huaqiao University in the People's Republic of China. Father Holtschneider toured the campus and met with several university leaders, including President Yimin Jia. The visit concluded with the signing of a memorandum of  cooperation to pursue study abroad programs and student and faculty exchanges between the two universities.
